Aura Up

By creating an Aura Up account, you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose: almost everything here is what you would already expect, and the only part that really deserves your attention is the one on fair play.
The game
Aura Up is free. There are no in-app purchases: stars are earned by playing, and can only be traded for cosmetics inside the game itself. They have no monetary value, and are not transferable, purchasable or refundable.
Your account
- An account belongs to one person. You are responsible for what happens in it.
- Your nickname appears on the leaderboard to other people. Pick one you don't mind showing.
- A nickname that is offensive, or that impersonates another person or a member of the team, may be changed or removed.
- You can delete your account at any time, from the app or from this page.
Fair play
The Daily Challenge and the Journey exist to compare the results of people who played the same stage. A made-up score doesn't just spoil the number of whoever sent it: it pushes everyone else down, takes the crown from whoever won the day and the medal from whoever won the season.
That is why the following is not allowed:
- modifying the app or using a modified version;
- sending a result that did not come from a match that was played, whether by altering what the app sends or by talking to the server directly;
- altering the memory of the running game, the device's clock or any other data to produce a result the match did not produce;
- automating play with a program, macro or external device;
- exploiting a known bug instead of reporting it;
- creating accounts to inflate your own result or someone else's.
The consequence is suspension of the account, temporary or permanent. Depending on the case, the results, season points, crowns and medals obtained this way may also be removed — including the ones already in your name.
The decision takes into account what happened: an isolated, ambiguous case tends to lead to the result being removed; repetition, or the use of a tool made to cheat, tends to lead to permanent suspension. If you believe there was a mistake, write to the contact below — every suspension can be reviewed by a person.
Finding a bug and telling us about it is not an infraction. It's the opposite: it's what keeps it from becoming someone's advantage.
Ads
The game shows Google AdMob ads at two moments: after a confirmed trade in the star store, and as an optional offer to continue after losing. What is collected is described in the privacy policy.
What we don't promise
The game is offered as is. We do our best to keep it working and the leaderboard fair, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Seasons, items and scoring rules may change between versions — when that erases something you earned, we will let you know inside the game.
Changes to these terms
If they change in a relevant way, the date at the top changes and a notice appears in the app. Continuing to play after that counts as agreement.
These terms are also available in Portuguese, the language in which they were originally written. If the versions ever differ, the Portuguese version prevails.
